GROWTH IN ALL ASPECTS
Acclaimed as the "must-attend" mid-year jewellery event, the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair has grown in scale in all aspects, from exhibition space to numbers of exhibitors and visitors. In 2006, the Fair occupied a record 30,000-plus square metres of exhibition space, an increase of 25 percent compared with the previous year. In addition to Halls 1 & 2 and Mezzanines 1 & 2, the Fair expanded to occupy Hall 3 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Number of exhibitors in 2006 also increased by 30 percent to over 1,000, another record high.
PROMISING VISITOR ATTENDANCE
With the growing popularity and recognition, the Fair attracts more than 19,000 serious buyers from over 100 countries and regions to the Fair. Over 48 percent of visitors come from countries and regions in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America to attend the Fair, confirming the Fair's dominant position in Asia.
THEMATIC PAVILIONS CREATE NEW ATTRACTIONS
The Diamond & Diamond Jewellery Pavilion, first launched in June 2006, and the Jadeite Gallery provide unified marketplaces for traders in their respective fields.
STRONG SALES NETWORK
Over 1,000 companies showcase a variety of products of the highest quality including fine jewellery, gemstones, pearls, diamonds and related products and services at very competitive prices. The Fair is applauded by exhibitors as providing a perfect forum for them to establish a strong sales network.
ONE CITY ‧TWO GREAT FAIRS
The June Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair is held concurrently with Asia's Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair - June (AFJ), the most professional and international fair of its kind in Asia. The event attracts over 14,000 buyers from 98 countries and regions and over 500 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions. Buyers visiting the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair can enjoy free access to AFJ, giving them the opportunity to attend two prestigious fairs during one visit.
AN INTENSIVE MARKETING PROGRAMME
The Fair attracts quality buyers from all over the world through a year-round intensive international marketing programme that includes a massive advertising campaign in over 100 jewellery trade publications worldwide, direct mailing to targeted and prospective trade buyers and promotional booths at all major international jewellery fairs.
