Shenzhen just locates adjacent to Hong Kong, it is convenient to visit the jewellery & gem fair as the transportation is facilitated by air, sea, road, rail and metro. The venue – Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center – situates extremely close to Hong Kong border, even making a day-trip to the fair is truly possible.

Shuttle Bus Service

We will provide FREE shuttle bus service running between Hong Kong and Shenzhen; and Guangzhou/ Panyu and Shenzhen for jewellery trade buyers to visit the fair.

Public Transport

To Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center / Shenzhen major hotels

A) Hong Kong (via)

1) MTR Train to Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center

Take train of East Rail Line (东铁线), from Hung Hom (红磡) to Lok Ma Chau (落马洲) station which operates from 05:35 – 21:35 at platform 1 or 4; while from Lok Ma Chau back to Hung Hom operates from 06:38 – 23:05. Both with frequent departure in around 10-14 minutes and the journey takes approximately 48 minutes; HKD$36.0 for a normal single journey, for first class fare is HKD$72.00.

At Lok Ma Chau station (落马洲), first to complete the Hong Kong immigration, then across an indoor pedestrian bridge to a China immigration checkpoint. After completing the China immigration, go to adjacent FuTian Checkpoint (福田口岸) station of LongHua Line of Shenzhen metro, then go directly to and get off at Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station. Only 2 stops, RMB 2, around 10 minutes. Then walk for 10 minutes to the exhibition center.

Or, take a taxi to the fairground right at the FuTian Checkpoint and drop off at the North Gate (北门) of the exhibition center.

2) Cross-border coach to major hotels in Shenzhen

Regular airport cross-border coach service to Shenzhen major hotels is available at the Hong Kong International Airport between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, in 30 minutes or an hour departure, average fare is betweenHKD$170-$200, journey time is around 90 minutes. For details of routes, prices and destinations, please contact cross-border coach operators at ticket counters in either Terminal 1 & 2 at the airport. The Airport Mainland Coach Station is just minutes-walk from the passenger terminal.

3) Cross boundary ferry to Exhibition Center (for transfer passengers only)

Take ferry at SkyPier of the Hong Kong International Airport to Shenzhen Shekou Passenger Port. Service hours: 09:00 – 21:45, approximate hourly departure; normal fare: HKD$220, first class fare: HKD$240; travelling time: 30 minutes.

At Shenzhen Shekou Port building, take bus no. K113, calling at exhibition center. Or, take bus no. 113 to Zhu Zi Lin (竹子林) station, take Shenzhen Metro there and get off at Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station, RMB 3, 4 stops, around 9 minutes.

To get a taxi directly to the exhibition center costs 30 – 35 minutes and RMB 40 – 50.

B) Shenzhen (via)

1) Shenzhen International Airport to Exhibition Center

Take airport bus no. 9 at Shenzhen International Airport to Huanggang Border, calling at exhibition center. It takes around 50-60 minutes, RMB 20. Operates from 08:00 – 22:00.

Or, take metro at Airport East (机场东) and go directly to Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station, RMB 8, 22 stops, around 56 minutes.

2) Shenzhen Railway station to Exhibition Center

Railway station is within walking distance to Shenzhen Metro. Take metro at Lo Wu (罗湖) station to Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station in Line 1, RMB 3, 16 minutes, 7 stops. Or take taxi directly, 20 – 30 minutes, RMB 45 – 60. Or, take bus no. 337 to exhibitor center, drop off at south area of the exhibition center.

C) Guangzhou (via)

1) Express Railway to Exhibition Center

Take the express train from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Shenzhen North Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.

The earliest operation time from Guangzhou to Shenzhen is at 07:00, while the last train is at 22:56. Relatively, the earliest operation time from Shenzhen to Guangzhou is at 07:00, while the last train is at 23:00. The shortest journey time of the train is around 40 minutes. Fare: seat is RMB 99.5 for business class; RMB 74.5 for economy class, RMB 119.5 for a first-class.

Passengers can purchase tickets over the phone, on the internet or at the ticketing counters of stations. Telephone bookings: hotline of China Railway Customer Service Center (translated name) is 12306.

Personal identity document is required when purchasing tickets.

Guangzhou South Railway Station connects Line 2 of Guangzhou metro. Passengers in Guangzhou, can conveniently take metro to the railway station as the metro system also cover urban areas of the city.

After arriving the Shenzhen North Station, can directly take Shenzhen metro to and get off at Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心), RMB 4, 8 stops and about 22 minutes ride.

2) InterCity train to Exhibition Center


Take the Guangzhou-Shenzhen InterCity (i.e. China Railway HighSpeed CRH) train from Guangzhou East Railway station to Shenzhen Railway station. Railway station is within walking distance to Shenzhen Metro. Take metro at Lo Wu (罗湖) station to Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station in Line 1, RMB 3, 16 minutes, 7 stops.

Fare of the intercity train: first-class seat is 100 yuan; second-class is 80 yuan. The journey takes about an hour.

General Transportation in Shenzhen
for references

1) Getting around using Shenzhen Metro (SZM)


Line 1 of Shenzhen Metro (SZM) running between east and west, train comes in every 5 – 15 minutes. While Line 4 running between north and south, train comes in every 10 –17 minutes. Both lines calling at Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心), the venue of China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair - Shenzhen. In general, SZM operates from 06:30 – 23:00. It costs RMB 2 – 11 according to stops travelled.

Lo Wu (Luo Hu in Mandarin - 罗湖) station in Line 1 situates outside an Immigration Control Point at Lo Wu. Passengers can take the metro right away after finishing the immigration and get off at Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station. It costs RMB 3, 16 minutes, 7 stops.

FuTian Checkpoint (Fu Tian Kou An in Mandarin - 福田口岸) station in Line 4 (Futian District in Shenzhen) situates close to China immigration control point, which connects the Hong Kong immigration control point in Lok Ma Chau (落马洲) and next to Lok Ma Chau train station. Passengers can take metro from there, go directly to & get off at Convention & Exhibition Center (会展中心) station. Only 2 stops, RMB 2, around 10 minutes.

2) Taxi


Taxi in Shenzhen is categorized into three types: Red, Blue & Green.

Red runs all areas of Shenzhen, while Blue can only run within Shenzhen downtown. Both charges RMB 13 (includes fuel surcharge) for first 3km, RMB 2.40 for each additional km, waiting time is RMB 0.8 per minute.

Green can only run outside the downtown (e.g. Long gang / Bao An districts) with RMB 7 for first 2 km, RMB 1.6 for each additional km, waiting time is RMB 0.5 per minute.

From 11:00pm – 6:00am, both basic fare and additional fare are increased by 30%.

Please only take taxi with meters and numberplate.

3) Public Bus


Public bus stopping close to Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (深圳会展中心): 
1. North of the Exhibition Center: 50、64、71、80、235、M347、371、374、375、379;
2. East of the Exhibition Center: 34、K113;
3. South of the Exhibition Center: 229、337、338、353、369、382、E13、J1

4) Shenzhen Tong


“Shenzhen Tong” is a form of rechargeable cash card or stored-value card. It is convenient for using transportations (Metro / Buses) and for purchase small amount of goods at either convenient stores or supermarkets within Shenzhen city. 

Sales channels and card top-ups: It can be purchased and top-up in all metro‘s sale kiosks, Shenzhen Development Bank, Shenzhen Rural Commercial Bank, post offices, and most of the convenience shops within Shenzhen.
